The Exchange BreweryThe Exchange is a new premium brewery and tasting room located in Niagara-on-the-Lake’s Old Town heritage district. Although the town is known as the heart of Ontario’s wine country, it is also the scene of a burgeoning craft-brewing industry. With brewing and agricultural roots that stretch back to the late 1700s, Niagara-on-the-Lake is the perfect home for The Exchange’s approach to brewing, which blends traditional and modern techniques and equipment.

Niagara College Teaching BreweryOur open-concept state-of-the-art 1,500 sq. ft. teaching micro-brewery facility offers students of Canada’s first Brewmaster and Brewery Operations Management program extensive hands on training in the on-site Brewery to prepare them for employment in the expanding brewery, microbrewery and brewpub industries. Students produce a variety of brews and tasting and beer purchases are available on-site.

Bench Brewing Company

Crafting great beer in the Niagara Escarpment. Our vision is to embrace the local winemaking tradition of the Niagara region with a unique, farmhouse approach to craft brewing. The Niagara Escarpment’s Twenty Valley is home to Ontario’s finest agricultural land – its climate and soil provide ideal growing conditions for the surrounding orchards, vineyards and farms. We believe that this fertile ecosystem will impart a unique “terroir” for our beer, just as it does for wine.

Founded in 2015, long-time friends Todd Barber and Dave Beifuss, made their dream a reality when they cracked open the doors to Kame & Kettle Beer Works in Fonthill, Ontario. We source our ingredients and conduct our commerce locally when possible. Attention to process, use of fine ingredients, have allowed us to experiment with over 100 different beer styles to date.  On tap you will find a selection of tasty ales, usually 8 or more, mirrored by our retail fridge offerings, freshly canned 946ml Crowlers and 473ml tallboys.

Silver Smith Brewing Company

In a church that dates back to the 1890s, full of rustic charm with exposed beams and brick walls, a bar handmade from reclaimed barn wood from around the corner, you can now marvel over it’s character as you enjoy a pint of one of our tasty beers.

This space is now home to not only a Brewery and Beer Hall, but also passionate and knowledgeable folks who are itching to guide you through an incredible beer experience like none other.

Niagara Brewing CompanyNiagara Brewing Company sits on the former site of the Foxhead Inn, one of the first luxury hotels to be built in Niagara Falls. Built and operated by Howard Fox, the Inn opened in 1925 as a subsidiary of the Clifton House, a hotel that would be lost to a dramatic fire on New Year’s Eve in 1932. From those ashes came development and progress, leading to the creation of Falls Avenue Resort and Niagara Brewing Company. And here at our brewery we honour the spirit of the fox by employing daring processes, bold flavours, and a sharp and fiery desire to create the perfect beer.

We are local brewers crafting traditional style ales using all natural ingredients. We are proud members of the Ontario Craft Brewers Association and stand committed to locally produce unique and drinkable, fresh craft beer of the highest quality. Making beer in small batches has given us creative license to experiment and brew a variety of beer styles.

Our Brewmaster has brewed a wide range of ales and lagers, and seasonal specialities that will reflect our local heritage.  Our flagship brands reflect our history and will bring back memories like our 9 O’clock Whistle IPA, Shrinking Mill Pale Ale,  Sailor Saison, and Hopkins Tomb Stout.  We will also honour our brewing history in Port Colborne by re-creating brews from the Cronmiller & White Brewing Company from the late 1800s such as its famous Maple Lager.

Gretzky's Wine & Whisky

Nestled among the vineyards, the distillery is home to state of the art distilling equipment, while the winery features a beautiful barrel fermenting and aging cellar and tasting room. The 23,000 square foot facility is the first of its kind in the region, featuring both wine and distilling production. The summer water feature next to the Great Lawn will become an ice rink in winter, complete with a ‘loonie’ buried at centre ice, dropped by The Great One himself at the groundbreaking ceremony in September, 2015.

Boasting award-winning Winemaker Craig McDonald and Master Distiller Joshua Beach, guests to the Winery & Distillery can enjoy wine and whisky tasting bars, retail stores, tours and seminars throughout the day, and a VIP tasting room.

Forty Creek WhiskyIn 1992 John Hall started his Distillery in Grimsby. His passion was to make hand – crafted Ontario made spirits. Little did he know, many years later, his passion and patience would translate into top selling spirit brands. Grimsby was formerly named ‘The Forty’, since the river running through the centre of town was exactly 40 miles away from Niagara Falls. Today, that river is named Forty Mile Creek – and it is the body of water that inspired the name of our whiskies.

At Forty Creek Whisky we are working to establish Niagara as an area also recognized for crafting world-class Spirits. We’re proud of our Grimsby roots, and we invite you to pay us – and the city – a visit.

Dillon's Small Batch Distillers

We chose the location of our distillery for its proximity to incredible ingredients and wonderful people. We’re neighbours to farmers who grow great fruit and botanicals practically in our backyard, making it readily available to us as we need it.

Our first products are made from a base of 100% Niagara wine grapes that would otherwise be thrown on the ground during the annual thinning process. We have them dropped into baskets instead of the ground before we ferment them, then distill. Many of our herbs are either grown by us or by local farmers. Our grain is sourced locally and we have an abundance of fruit everywhere you turn in the Twenty Valley.

LTD Distillery (Limited Distilling Corp.) is an up and coming quality spirit brand and distillery experience that is located within the wine region of Niagara-On-The-Lake.

Dinner Parties will never be the same again… Small Talk Vineyards feature bold fresh VQA wines that expose the dramatic gap between what you say, …. and what you really think!

Regardless of the occasion, we have the perfect wine for your lunch, dinner, or party. One thing is certain, our wines will spark a great conversation. Enjoy!

Konzelmann is Niagara’s only lakefront winery, located on the shores of Lake Ontario. The Winery began in the small German town of Uhlbach, near the turn of the 19th century. A restauranteur named Friederich Konzelmann left the culinary trade to pursue the craft of winemaking. Bolstered from previous success in producing house wines for his restaurants, Friederich officially released his first vintage to the public in 1893. He would eventually produce 200,000 litres of excellent wine per year from an array of Germany’s celebrated aromatic varietals.

Our unique 34-acre organic winery is located in the sub-appellation of Niagara called St. Davids Bench. Although our neighbouring growers also enjoy the fortuitous 20 percent higher temperatures of this sub-appellation, this property is an anomaly; the soils are lighter, its airflow and water drainage more consistent, and its perch on the Bench is at its highest elevation.

Our wines at Ravine Vineyard are often described as “elegant” or “refined”. This style is as much a result of the terroir as it is of Martin Werner’s organic viticulture efforts.

NOMAD at Hinterbrook – Hinterbrook is an estate winery located in Niagara-on-the-Lake Ontario, making exciting VQA Wines in addition to hosting incredible food and wine events, tours and weddings on our picturesque property.

Peller Estates is a special place, where Winemaker Katie Dickieson and Winery Chef and CityLine personality Jason Parsons work together to create Canada’s most innovative wine and food experiences. It’s a place where people come to awaken their palate by celebrating and learning about the many nuances of wine: growing and tasting, pairing and serving, buying and cellaring.

Trius Winery is a Niagara winemaking pioneer. For more than 30 years, we have been crafting fine VQA wines from premium grapes grown in the four appellations of Niagara-on-the-Lake. Nestled between the Niagara escarpment and Lake Ontario, we have made our home in a wine growing region that provides the diversity to grow a number of varietals in unique growing conditions.

Our winery provides both a wine and culinary journey like no other.  A visit to Trius Winery is an unrushed sensory experience, a time out that lets you taste, feel and discover.  Our wines and menus are inspired by the seasonal evolution of the vines that surround us, and the local produce that grows beside them.

One of Niagara-on-the-Lake’s founding family wineries, founded in 1982 by Ewald Reif and later acquired by nephew Klaus W. Reif. Today, Reif produces wines from its vineyard first planted in 1977. Our 125 acre farm is located in the Niagara River sub-appellation where sun-loving grape varieties grow best. The easterly facing slopes and long growing season are moderated by the river as air currents ward off early spring and late fall frosts.

Our vineyard is located in Ontario’s warmest sub-appellation, ideal for the production of rich full-bodied wines. But time matters too. Our farm is also home to some of the oldest vinifera plantings in Canada, a benefit to growers in cooler climates like Ontario, as mature vines ripen earlier. They also produce wines that reflect the ‘terroir’, so when you taste our wines you will taste the essence of our vineyard.

First, we’re here to make great wine. Second, we’re here to offer you a truly personal wine experience. Everything we do comes from these two basic principles.

We start in the vineyard with low yields, progressive viticulture practices and hand picking and sorting the grapes. We continue inside the winery with a sexy gravity-flow design and the latest in wine-making equipment from around the world.

We are a family owned and operated farm, winery, restaurant and wedding venue. Rooted in the heart of Niagara, Jordan is home to breathtaking lots of green land, rolling orchards and fruitful soil that has stood the test of time.

We have an extremely talented wine maker, creative chefs and an enthusiastic team who ensures that the estate is always looking country chic. Along with our vineyard being Cabernet Franc and Riesling we also have peaches, pears, apples and nectarines lining the property. We pride our selves on being a friendly atmosphere for the whole family. Meet the horses, dogs and chickens. Relax outside with a wonderful glass of wine and taste some farm to table eats at “The Oven” outdoor bistro.

Welcome to Sue-Ann Staff Estate Winery, now home to Fancy Farm Girl wines, a small, quality-oriented winery on the family’s 200+ year old estate on the brow of the Niagara Escarpment in Jordan, Ontario, Canada. It is the ultimate assemblage, blending over 100 years of the family’s grape growing experience with 18+ years of Sue-Ann’s award winning winemaking. After opening in 2009, it has been a whirlwind of ultimate experiences, from Weddings to Corporate Dinners to Food Truck Events and Niagara Icewine Programs. Concerts, Fashion Shows — who knows what the future holds?

Owned and operated by John Howard, Megalomaniac began as a retirement project to help raise funds for the Kids’ Health Links Foundation. After the original vintage sold out within 90 days, Howard realized the impact the program might have and the idea of expanding nationally became a strategic opportunity. A second vintage was launched, and since then neither the winery nor the foundation has looked back.

As one of Niagara’s first winery restaurants and a forerunner of Niagara’s flourishing wine and culinary scene, we offer cuisine featuring ingredients from local purveyors prepared by an internationally trained team of chefs led by Executive Chef Justin Downes. Guests dine indoors in the renovated 1845 farmhouse or outdoors under the new shade sails. Wherever you are seated, you will take in the views of rolling vineyards, the forests of the Niagara Escarpment and Lake Ontario and Toronto in the distance.

Welcome to Kew Vineyards, the hidden gem of Niagara’s wine country history. A true Grande Dame of vineyards, her original 1975 plantings are among the oldest in the region, guiding winemaker Philip Dowell in producing exquisite terroir driven wines.

Kew Vineyards is as much about gracious country hospitality as it is about beautiful wine. We have opted to take a different approach to the winery experience, understanding that there are times when you feel the need to be off the beaten path, to take your time and smell the roses.

As Canada’s original estate winery, we’re an industry pioneer committed to the production of premium wines made from quality grapes grown in Canada for over 35 years. With wineries in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario and the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, we’re leading the way with our full collection of world renowned, award-winning VQA table wines and Icewines crafted by progressive, artisanal winemakers.

Jackson-Triggs is a name you know. It’s a name your friends know. It’s a name that stands for our commitment to crafting the perfect wine for any occasion, and our attention to detail shows. You can feel proud when serving Jackson-Triggs wines in knowing that, no matter the varietal, vintage, or region, you’ll be pouring a premium wine that pairs perfectly with every moment, large or small.

Niagara College Teaching Winery

In 2000, the Niagara on the Lake campus of Niagara College established the Winery and Viticulture Technician program. The program is the first of its kind in Canada in that the Teaching Winery facilitates the learning enterprise of the program. Presently located amidst 38 acres of College vineyards, the teaching winery allows the students to have immediate access to a hands-on experience in a real-time working environment to produce award winning wines. Furthermore the program allows them to obtain skills in three specialty areas; winemaking, viticulture and sales/marketing, that will provide diverse opportunities upon graduation.

Redstone Winery® is the latest venture by Moray Tawse and his award-winning winemaking team. Named for its red clay soil and large stones, the 38-acre Lincoln Lakeshore property was purchased in 2009 and is home to a newly opened hospitality centre and a locally-inspired restaurant.

Our Cider journey began three years ago when we were looking for a sparkling wine replacement. Hank wanted to create a cider that was refreshing and easy-drinking while remaining entirely food friendly. We use 9 different varieties of Red Apples from across Ontario. Shiny Apple Cider is gluten free, vegan friendly and comes in at a sneaky dangerous 7% alcohol.
